It's All About the LITTLE Things.

This morning while I was busy cleaning, DD came over and asked me if you could make something for Papa. Yes, she calls DH, her father, Papa. I really have no idea why, she just always has. I does not mind at all. Actually, I think he kind of likes it, it is like their own little thing, so why change it.

Anyways, I took her into the craft room where she found a beautiful piece of red paper that she wanted to make into her card. As she was busy decorating it with some foam butterflies, she asked me to get her an envelope to put it in. Once she was finished she slid it inside the envelope and proudly put it on the kitchen table in the place where he always sits. There it sits waiting for him to come home.

DD is always wanting to make special little things for everyone in the family. I think it is so sweet and thoughtful of her to want to do these little things. I hope that she will always remember to do the little things, cause lots of times, they mean the most.

Here is is admiring her card. Sorry, my focus is a little off in this one, but I thought it was kind of cute, so I included it anyways.

Here is the front of the card:

and the back of the card. Actually, I do not know which is the front and the back, but you get the idea.

Finally, one of her proudly showing off her card for Papa, to me.

Thanks Jax. I love homemade cards.

Glad this is finally working. It is not the picture part of this challenge that is going to kill me, but the blogging part!
