Dancing with the Wind

It has been so windy around here that is has been impossible to get nice sharp macros in the garden, so I decided to embrace the wind, and capture movement in my pictures instead.

I am not thrilled with the background, but it was the best background I could come up with given the tulips were growing under some large trees at the edge of garden.


This is one of those artistic images that you either love or hate, there is no middle of the ground on whether you like this type of thing or not.

Spider Webs

I couldn't resist taking some picture the other morning of this spider web covered with dew. You would wonder how something as icky as a spider could make something so beautiful.

Track and Field

I received an email this morning telling me that it was time to change the banner for my blog. Hmmm, do you think so. To be quite honest, I had not thought that anyone was even checking my blog any more so I had stopped posting on it. I will start posting again for those of you who are still checking. But you are going to have to give me a little time to get the banner changed.

Friday was track and field day at my son's school. I would not say that action photography is my speciality, but I did my best to capture the events of the day. This makes me what to have more of a sport lens, that is quick focusing and low stop for background blur, but that is not likely to happen for a while, so I will just have to work with what I do have. These are all in 8x10 storyboard frames made by Tina, but since my background is white too, they do not show up, and I just do not have time to change this right now.
