Yukon Wildlife Preserve

While in Whitehorse we took the afternoon to visit the Yukon Wildlife Preserve, located just out of town on the Takhini Hot Springs Road, before the Takhini Hot Springs.

 

The Yukon Wildlife Preserve has mammal and birds that you would typically see in the north.  You take a self guided walking tour through the park itself.

The fall colours were amazing while we were there in early September.

The mountain goat even smiled for me.
