Wonderful Sunset

Just wanted to share this gorgeous sunset over the North Channel. This was taken last week while we were up there for a little vacation.

Beautiful Teen

Now my two have always been pretty good about letting me practice taking pictures with them, or trying different things, but sometimes it is nice to have someone totally different to work with. So I would like to introduce "M", she is the sister of "D's" best friend and also our neighbour. "M" is such a bright, happy, bubbly person that it was hard to get a picture of her not smiling. "M" was up for just about anything so I was able to try out a few new ideas and locations I had scouted out. I had a blast photographing you "M" and cannot wait to be able to get together again for another session. Enjoy!

Dew Drops Everywhere

The other morning was perfect for getting out and capturing the dew on the flowers and of course the grass. I love the fact that you can get an image within the water drop itself. I do find it very difficult to hand hold these though and get everything in focus. Another photographer has shared a tip with me, though that I can invert the centre column of my tripod and use it that way. Now, I am not sure but I think the neighbours think I might be a little strange already, when I am out there taking pictures of the wet grass early in the morning. Just wait to they see me with my tripod and the camera turned upside down.

I think this one is my favorite. Although it is hard to chose, because just like snowflakes each one seems to be unique in size and the way it is attached to that blade of grass.


I feel like this drop is going to let loose and slide down the blade of grass at any moment when I look at this one.

Pure Sweetness

I had the opportunity to photograph little Miss A again last week. I did Miss A's newborn photos so it was great to see her again now that she is a year old. Oh, but where does the time go, I remember doing her newborn pictures like it was yesterday.

Miss A is absolutely adorable. She is the sweetest little girl, with porcelain skin, beautiful blond hair, gorgeous blue eyes and the most perfect little lips you have ever seen. I almost prefer the non smiling pictures because they show off her perfect little lips so well.

I had such a great time with you and your Mommy and Daddy Miss A, that I can't wait to photography you again.

I Just Love Newborns

I truly enjoy photographing newborns. Sometimes they can be challenging, but the picture I am able to capture of their newness and little baby parts always make it worth while. Here is a recent little guy that I photographed.


Doesn't he have the most gorgeous blue eyes? Love that little smile too!


Here are all of those little baby parts together in a collage with a space left to put the baby's name, date and time of birth as well as their height and weight.

I just wanted to wish my Nephew a very happy birthday today! I am sad that we are not closer so that we can see you, but have fun at the science centre!!!!!

The Gecko-Glam Look

E has just started loosing her teeth. Sigh, just another sign that my baby is growing up.

Anyways, I wanted to capture that cheeky adorable grin of hers, so I asked her if I could take a few pictures. She said sure Mom, in just a minute. A minute passes and she walks into the room sporting her bright pink lipstick. Well, I wanted pictures of her, and well that is just so her, so I went just had to go with it. That in combination with the beautiful diamond(cubic zirconia) snowflake earring which she refuses to change, and the temporary gecko tattoo on her arm, all work together to create her very own personalized "Gecko-Glam Look". I just don't know how else to describe it. But, then again, I wouldn't want her any other way either.

But I must admit, I prefer it in black and white, even though it does not show off the lipstick quite the same.

My Graduate Again
