Exhausted!

I was at work today, and most of our flowers came in today for Valentine's. That meant we had 1000 roses, 640 gerbera daisies, 400 carnations, 200 cremones, 100 lilies and numerous other misc. flowers to clean, and now I am exhausted.

Not much creavitity today, just a couple of the lava lamp in DD room.

Painting at Playgroup

I took DD and my camera to playgroup this morning. I thought I would try and get pictures of the different activities she does while there. Unfortunately, it was very busy today, so it was hard to get pics of just her without any other children for posting purposes. I will share the painting series though.

I wanted to get a nice picture of her, looking at me, but instead this is the face that she kept giving me today. As you can see, she has just figured out how to cross her eyes! Attactive isn't it, especially with the red paint on her nose too!

Lil Helper

Snow Much Fun!

It was a little warmer out today, only -13 C, so DH bundled DD up and took her out to play in the snow. I came home early from work, and as you can see, she was very excited to be able to show me how she rolled down the snow hills.

Brrrrrrr!

Yes, this was the temperature when I got up this morning. The temperature got all the way up to -13 C for a high today, but still felt closer to -30C with the wind chill and blowing snow.

Yet Another VERY Cold Day

We woke up this morning to a temperature of 0.6 F, and with the brisk north wind blowing the wind chill makes the temperature feel more like -22F out. Way to cold to take DD out to play.

Sorry, large post with lots of pictures today. This will likely be my last large post though, as I have to work almost every day until after Valentine's. I work atleast 10 hour days and these will only get longer the closer we get to the big day. When I get home, my family needs me to be with them, not worrying about pictures, so I am not sure how many more posts I will be able to make in the next little while. I will try to post when I can, but no promises.

Anyways, I decided to try some bubble pictures today with a few flowers that I had at home. This was harder than I thought, cause the flowers kept wanting to float to the top of the club soda.

I wanted to try some Valentine pictures, but DD was not so sure about that.

A couple possibilites for cards. I like the first one, but tried the second too because I was trying to get the whole word "sweet" that is one her shirt in the picture. I am not sure why her skin looks so grayish in the second one.

Frosty Morning

Woke up his morning to temperatures at about -11 Celcius, and the weather man is calling for more snow today and wind chill factors around -25 Celcius. Yup that is definitely a little frosty out. Here is a few pictures of the frost on our one porch outer door. So pretty isn't it.

It means that my canvas finally arrived to PixelstoCanvas today. Too bad I was at work and could not see it til tonight. Anyways, it looks awesome!!!! The colours are so rich and the leaves are jumping of the canvas at me, I could swear it was 3D. Thanks so much Roxanne and CB!!!!!!! Sorry, the picture does not do it justice. It was taken tonight with yucky lighting, but love the colours on my wall.

Okay my plan for today was to take some Valentine's pictures, but when I got home from playgroup and getting groceries, DH had a steam cleaner and was cleaning all the carpets and cushions from the couches and camper.Needless these was no where to try and take some pictures, so we had to improvise. Really, is there anything better to do than jump on the couch once all the cushions have been taken off.

Okay, so I have been tagged, three times at last count. Now that everyone has been busy tagging everyone else, I am not sure who I am going to tag, I am not really big in the blogging world.

Anyways, here are my 6 things.

1. I hate those chain letters that you get through email.

2. Every dish has it's spot in the dishwasher, and it drives me crazy when I see things scattered randomly around the dishwasher. I just bite my tongue though, cause someone was kind enough to put it in there for me.

3. I am left handed and have never been able to cut with scissors......thank goodness for paper trimmers.

4. I always sleep on the same side of the bed, even when DH was working a night shift.

5. I dislike the cold, but like snow.

6. I always have to brush my teeth before going to bed.
