These are from the drive home through Georgia. We found this beautiful cotton field and pulled over to have a closer look. It was so neat to actually be able to see a cotton plant. E was just fascinated to realize that this is the fabric that much of her clothing is made of.

The pod which is about to open and reveal the cotton. I believe these pods are also called bolls.
