A Sweet Little Newborn
I had the pleasure of photographing this little darling on the first of the month. She was such a content baby, she would just lay there and watch me.

Her own little cocoon:

Doesn't she looks so peaceful all snuggled up in the blanket.

Love this picture of Mom and Babe. Bliss, pure bliss, I do not know how else to describe it. I really wish I had a picture of my daughter and I like this, however I am guessing she is a little old to give this a try now. LOL!

Thank you "L" for allowing me to photograph you and your beautiful daughter.

Got Ya!
A few weeks ago D & E found and caught this frog from the pond in our front yard. E decided to put the frog in the smaller pond in the backyard (which is fenced in) so that she could keep a better eye on him. Well yesterday, she decided to fish him out of the pond for a while so that she could play with him a little. LOL!
Here she is with her frog:

Introducing....
The newest member of our family, a little dwarf bunny. We have not quite decided on a name for him just yet. E was thinking of calling him Rainbow Surprise in honour of all her My Little Ponies that she loves so much, but she is still a little undecided as of this morning. I will let you know as soon as we do decide on a name. In the mean time, here are a few pictures of him in his new home just after my husband brought him home.

Rustic Cabins
We went over to Michigan camping for a few days last week, and while driving around we came across many run down little cabins. I think at one time they must have been rented out to visitors to stay in, as you usually saw three or four of them in a row, but now they sit empty, and time seems to have taken over.
Here are just a few of the cabins we saw:

O Canada!
O Canada! Our home and native land
True patriot love in all thy sons command.
With Glowing hears we see thee rise
The true North strong and free!
From far and wide,
O Canada, we stand on guard for three.
God keep our land glorious and free!
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.
Happy Birthday Canada!

Did you know that the Canadian Flag was adopted by resolutions of Parliament on December 15, 1964 and proclaimed by Queen Elizabeth II to take effect on February 15, 1965, the day the maple leaf flag was first raised over Parliament Hill.
Our small town always has fireworks on June 30th to kick off the July 1st, Canada Day celebrations.
