Snow Much Fun!

We took all the snow from our driveway and put it in a pile for the kids to play on. Here is Miss "E" having some fun sliding down the snow hill.

Snowflakes!

I have always been amazed by some of the cool snowflake pictures people seem to be able to capture. I certainly have not perfected this yet, but this is the best snowflake picture I have gotten to date.

Winter Wonderland

A few more from the morning I stopped at the conservation area. Love all the icicles that had formed on the tree branches and brush in the river.

Happy New Year

I was out the other morning and thought the heavy frost that we got was so pretty on the trees, that I had to take a few pictures. You can see it was still quite foggy out.

Finally the sun burnt through the fog revealing a beautiful blue sky. The white frost against the blue sky was just amazing.

I thought the ice on the branches like of looked like reindeer.
